We are beyond excited to welcome a new addition to greenlane: the cult French skin care brand DORÉ. The brand's concept of ‘French sophistication meets modern simplicity’ makes having a quality skincare routine more accessible to everyone.
Garance Doré, a French photographer, illustrator and author well known for her fashion blog and one of the brand's founding partners, was gracious enough to share some insights into the brand with us.
Please, can you tell us a little bit about the brand and the concept behind Doré?
The brand was born out of our love for French Pharmacy, the efficacy, the ease, and the trust that it inspires. Emily and I had worked for years in the fashion and beauty industry and had tried hundreds of formulas that, instead of giving us perfect skin, left us with inflamed and irritated skin.
We want to bring forward the modern incarnation of the French pharmacy. Excellent formulas, but with a focus on clean ingredients and, of course, on sustainability.
When you talk about French skincare, what does it mean to you? What do you feel sets you apart from other brands?
French skincare defies trends and focuses on the formulas and skin health. It’s about consistency and simple gestures.
We cut through the noise with our very clear and simple approach. No need for a 10-step routine; we take beauty back to a sense of ease that brings results.
The brand has been so successful since its launch in 2022; can you give us any insider information about what you see in the future or new product launches?
Thank you! We strongly believe in each of our essentials. They've become instant classics, and we want to keep nurturing that approach. I think it’s important not always to get caught up in the new or trends- though we definitely have a lot in the works!
